Mike Woodward has spent 20 years turning wild ideas into unforgettable productions. Now, he’s building his ultimate creative playground at VacancyLand, blending his love for amusement parks, attractions, concerts, & film into one immersive world.
A creative producer with sharp logistical instincts, Mike’s career spans Entertainment PR for ten Las Vegas Strip hotels promoting legendary acts like Elton John, Celine Dion, & Donny & Marie, along with work at the Sundance Film Festival, & producing the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the Sochi Winter Olympics.
At The ATS Team, he helped grow the company from six people to overseeing day-to-day operations for 40+ employees & 80+ riggers. He managed staffing, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, & production finances, all while coordinating multi-city tours, managing trucking logistics, & navigating international shipping for large-scale TV builds. Under Mike’s co-leadership, The ATS Team became a global powerhouse, designing & fabricating sets & challenges for hit competition shows like Ninja Warrior, Big Brother, Holey Moley, & more!
Now, as founder of Vacancy Pictures & Executive Producer of the Webby & Viddy Award-winning ‘Clash of Trades,’ Mike’s bringing his creativity & precision to the events & attractions world through VacancyLand, where ideas ride wild!
